The ECCE programme is designed to give children access to a minimum of at least one free pre-school year. Children are entitled to three hours a day. Our ECCE classes run from 9am to 12pm and 1230pm to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Participation in a pre-school programme provides children with their first formal experience of early learning, the starting-point of their educational and social development outside the home.  Children who avail of pre-school are more likely to be ready for school and a formal learning and social environment.

There are now three entry points to the programme. Children who are three years old by August the 31st can enter the programme in September. Children are three years old by the 31st of December can enter the programme in January and children who are three years old by the 31st of March can enter the programme in April.

Places for our ECCE classes book up very fast so early registration is vital.
